Stoq Backups is a private, owner-operated utility for encrypting Stoq service archives and storing recovery copies in the owner's Google Drive.
This website provides application and privacy information. It does not offer public registration, request credentials, or provide access to backup files.
What the application does
With the owner's authorization, the backup utility creates and retrieves encrypted archive files in Google Drive. Its purpose is to protect service configuration and authorization state for recovery.
Limited Google Drive access
The application requests the Google Drive drive.file permission for files it creates or that the owner explicitly authorizes. It does not request unrestricted access to all Drive files.
Encryption and recovery
The backup workflow encrypts archives before cloud upload. The private recovery key is kept separately from the upload server. Backup automation is being configured and verified; this page is not evidence that a backup or restoration has succeeded.
